ATC Warranty Overview
Loudspeaker Technology Ltd provides you with a two-year product warranty for your ATC product, valid from the date of purchase from an authorised ATC dealer. This warranty can be extended up to a period of six years by registering the product with ATC. The ATC product warranty does not affect your local statutory rights. Specific details of the warranty may vary from country to country, please contact your local distributor for details. The product warranty is subject to the following warranty conditions:
Scope
- The term of the warranty begins on the day of purchase from an authorised ATC dealer and ends after two years.
- Should you successfully register your product with ATC, the warranty period is extended up to six years from the date of purchase, on the condition the registration takes place within 30 days of purchase.
- The warranty is linked to the product and is transferable. Warranty for second-hand/used product starts from the original date of sale. Used product extended warranty will only apply if the original owner has registered the product.
- In the case of second-hand/used product that has not been registered, the warranty starts on the date of manufacture.
- Warranty for dealer/distributor demonstrators starts on the date of manufacture.
- During the warranty period, Loudspeaker Technology Ltd. will repair or, at our absolute discretion, replace a faulty product. Warranty repairs must only be carried out by Loudspeaker Technology Ltd or our authorised service agents. The warranty covers the cost of parts and labour.
Limitations
The product warranty does not provide cover for:
- ATC products purchased from outside the authorised ATC sales network. For a list of authorised ATC dealers & distributors, please see HERE.
- Products without dated proof of purchase (sales invoice or receipt) from an authorised ATC dealer or distributor.
- Use outside that set out in the relevant product User Manual.
- Products on which the serial number has been modified, rendered illegible or removed.
- Damage caused by improper handling (e.g. drop/impact, water, dust/sand).
- Faults resulting from normal use or wear and tear, or normal ageing of the product.
- Purely cosmetic blemishes on the product (such as dust).
- Wearing parts, such as batteries, unless the damage has been caused by a material defect or manufacturing fault.
- Operation without a mains earth (ground) connection.
- Unauthorised modification or service.
- Products that are not packed in the original packaging (packing sets are available from authorised ATC distributors/dealers).
- Extreme environmental conditions (including extreme temperatures and extreme humidity), extreme physical or electrical loads, interference, fluctuations or voltage peaks in the mains power supply, lightning strikes, static electricity, fire, force majeure, or any other external influences.
- ATC factory repairs. A 12 month warranty applies to repairs. The warranty applies to the parts replaced and the workmanship associated with replacing these parts only.
Customer Obligations
To obtain the services available under the product warranty, the customer undertakes:
- To provide a copy of the original proof of purchase for the product, issued by an authorised ATC dealer/distributor, when requested to do so by ATC.
- Where possible, to process all warranty claims via the dealer who supplied the product or via the distributor in the country in question.
- To provide information about the symptoms and causes of problems with the product via telephone and/or email.
- To make the final formal application for warranty repair using the online ATC Service Repair Booking Form.
- To respond to questions, including requests for the serial number of the product, the model, peripheral equipment connected to the product, faults heard/observed, actions carried out before the problem occurred on the product, and measures taken to resolve the problem.
- To follow all instructions from ATC, including those on how to package the product in the original product packaging.
